Our driver picked us up right in front of our Airbnb each morning and took us through the city while giving us history and insight to all of the major attractions of Rome. When we met with our first guide Zenda to tour the colusseum and Roman forum she was friendly and accommodating. She gave us a great tour through the colusseum and Roman forum and was very considerate of the needs of my elderly parents. “Our tour of the Vatican was a disappointment. Our guide Maria was very friendly but seemed to only give information on art and history of her liking. She skipped through major works and some of the most beautiful rooms to continue talking about 1 person- Raphael. Everyone in the group was a bit antsy to keep moving and we’d often spend 10-15 minutes in one spot. Other tours and guides were zooming past us and often confused why we were just standing in the middle of the room blocking everyone.”

“The operator canceled our tour 3 minutes before it was supposed to start. This essentially ruined our visit to Rome. They canceled because some of the sites were going to be closed on Day #2 (due to the death of the Pope). However, all the sites for Day 1 were open. I asked if they could do the first day, but they refused, not sure why... The only good thing about this experience was that they promptly refunded our money...”
