An amazing job has been done restoring the Collaseum to compliment the explanations being given by the hide allowing an immersive experience of what it would have been like in the times of the arena shows. Excellent knowledge and explanations by local guides.”

“Relatively easy to find the office. Easy check in. Very knowledgeable guide. Only downside it closed at 4.15pm which we were not aware of so only had just over an hour inside. Definitely worth doing.”

The ride down the old Appian Way was breathtaking. At no time did we feel unsafe on any roads we had to ride to get to our next spot. We had an amazing lunch along the way. Learned so many new things I didn't know about the Colosseum, Italian words, fun facts, etc. At the end of the tour, she pointed out great authentic Italian restaurants in the area that weren't tourist traps. She even walked us to the vicinity afterwards so we wouldn't get lost. Found the best sandwich for only 4 Euros. On a solo trip right now with a friend but planning on bringing my husband and kids next year and would definitely book again.
