“It is certainly worth buying tickets in advance, as the queues can be lengthy. We spent around 2 1/2 - 3 hours, finishing with the Sistine Chapel. Fantastic museums and exhibitions. Was not so enamoured with the museum of modern art - seemed very out of place with the other museums.”

“I would not have wanted to try to see the museum or the Basilica without skip the line tickets. Well worth the money! You’d be in line for HOURS in the hot sun if you didn’t have them. In this tour, the guide did not go with us to the Basilica. We were able to view it at our own pace. Unfortunately, we were unable to see the Sistine Chapel since it was closed at the time due to preparation for conclave, but we were able to see everything else!”

I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting an informative colosseum, roman forum and palatine hill tour. If there is any downside it would be with amount of people that were there. it made it hard to keep up at times weaving through the crowd of multiple thousands of people, as well as see the many views and hear the guide at times but that is out of the control of the tour guide and whomever runs the colosseum should cut ticket sales off at some point.
