If there is any downside it would be with amount of people that were there. it made it hard to keep up at times weaving through the crowd of multiple thousands of people, as well as see the many views and hear the guide at times but that is out of the control of the tour guide and whomever runs the colosseum should cut ticket sales off at some point.
